Favorite ONO Combo's!

Good morning! I meant to have this post up a few days ago, but we had unexpected company, and hubby fractured his ankle, so it never happened-sorry!

Overnight oats are by no means a "new" thing. I have been making them for around 3 years now. I did not invent them (although I wish I had been the creative brain that did!) but I have tried dozens of different flavor combo's. Some have been hit, some a miss.

Today I am sharing my top 5 favorites. I have made these so many times, that I don't follow anything for them anymore. For me the base is pretty much the same all the time (you can alter it slightly), then just experiment away with add in's! 

The base I like to use is; 

1/2 cup rolled oats
3/4c-1c cup soy milk (or favorite non-dairy of your choice)
1 tsp chia seeds (alternatively you can sub in or add on hemp hearts, or ground flax seeds)
1/2 Tbsp pure maple syrup

If it's a recipe that you add in fruit such as banana's the next day I will use 1 cup of soy milk as I like it medium-thick, not gluey. If you like yours to be very thick, stick to 3/4 cup for all recipes.

Strawberry Banana

This is near identical to the raspberry one but with strawberries. I only like it this way with fresh strawberries when in season. It is also great with blueberries!
